    The Preferred Series aluminum bleachers have double foot planks on all rows, providing wider walkways. The first row features a seat height of less than 12 inches, with a 6-inch rise per row. The anodized seats are 2 inches by 12 inches wide and do not necessitate aisles. Vertical Picket Guardrails are included in all bleacher systems with 5 rows of seating.

    For 3 & 4-row bleachers, the top seat height is less than 30 inches, eliminating the need for guardrails to comply with most building and safety codes (please verify local codes for specific requirements).

      Specifications:

      1. Load Accommodation:

        • All seat and foot planks are designed to accommodate a uniform load of 120 pounds per linear foot (plf) across a 6-foot span.
        • The maximum allowable deflection is 9/16 inch.

      2. Live Load Support:

        • These bleachers are engineered to support, in addition to their weight, a uniformly distributed live load of not less than 100 pounds per square foot (psf) based on the gross horizontal projection of the bleachers.

      3. Wind Load Resistance:

        • The design accounts for horizontal wind loads, whether there is a live load or not.
        • The bleachers are capable of resisting a wind load of 30 psf based on the gross vertical projection.

      4. Sway Force Resistance:

        • Beyond the live load, the bleachers are specifically engineered to withstand sway forces:
          • 24 plf of seat plank in a direction parallel to the length of the seat.
          • 10 plf of seat plank in a direction perpendicular to the length of the seat.
